Terms of Use
Last updated 19 July 2026
These terms cover your use of linkride.co.uk, operated by LinkRide Technologies LTD (company number SC872736, registered office 2/3, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G2 1BP). By using this site you agree to them. Separate terms will apply to the LinkRide mobile app once it launches.
What LinkRide is
LinkRide is a cost-sharing carpool platform: drivers already making a trip split the real cost of that journey with riders going the same way. LinkRide is not a licensed taxi or private hire operator, and nothing on this site should be read as an offer of such a service.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and doesn’t guarantee early access, a place in any launch cohort, or any specific date. We’ll email the address you provide when the app becomes available.
Community partner portal
Organisations (universities, employers, etc.) can request a closed LinkRide community through our partner portal. Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee approval — LinkRide reviews and approves communities at its own discretion, and may suspend or remove a community that breaches these terms or misuses the platform. Partner admins are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit about their organisation.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse this site: no scraping, no attempting to access another organisation’s community data, no submitting false information, and no using the site to break the law.
Intellectual property
The LinkRide name, logo, and site content belong to LinkRide Technologies LTD and may not be reused without permission.
Liability
This site is provided as-is while LinkRide is in pre-launch. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
