Privacy Policy

LinkRide Technologies LTD (“LinkRide”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC872736), registered office 2/3, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G2 1BP. This page explains what personal data we collect through linkride.co.uk, why, and what rights you have over it under UK GDPR.

What we collect

• Waitlist sign-ups:the email address you submit and whether you’re interested in riding, driving, or both, plus the time you signed up.
• Community interest & partner accounts: if you register interest in a closed LinkRide community for your organisation, we hold the organisation name, contact name, and email you submit so we can follow up. If your organisation becomes an approved partner, we also hold the community details needed to manage that partnership, and standard sign-in session data for the partner dashboard.
• Feedback submissions: if you use the feedback form, we hold your message and, if you choose to give them, your name and email address.
• Standard hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs things like IP address and browser type for security and performance, as almost every website does.

Why we collect it

Waitlist emails are used for exactly one thing: telling you when the LinkRide app is available. Community interest and partner account details are used to follow up on your request and, if approved, to operate the community partner portal. Feedback is used to improve the product, and to reply to you directly if you leave an email and ask a question. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it on our behalf

We don’t run our own servers for this — we rely on a small number of processors instead:

• Google Firebase (Firestore): stores waitlist, community interest, partner account, and feedback data.
• Resend:delivers our emails — waitlist confirmation, the newsletter (if you’ve opted in), and community invite links.
• Vercel: hosts this website and its standard access logs.

Each of these may process data outside the UK; where they do, they’re contractually required to protect it to UK GDPR standard (e.g. via Standard Contractual Clauses).

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

We don’t run advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we don’t place any cookies at all. Your browser’s local storage is used for two things: keeping the partner sign-in system signed in between visits, and remembering your light/dark mode choice. Both are purely functional and aren’t shared with third parties.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and roughly where from. It doesn’t use cookies or any other identifier that follows you between visits or across other websites — each visit is anonymised and the underlying data is discarded after 24 hours. How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are kept until launch (so we can email you), and for as long as you stay opted in if you’ve also signed up for the newsletter, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever is sooner. You can drop the newsletter or remove your details entirely at any time from the unsubscribe page. Partner account data is kept for as long as the partnership is active. Community interest requests and feedback submissions are kept while we’re actively following up on them, and for a reasonable period afterward for context, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop using it, at any time. Email support@linkride.co.uk and we’ll action it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
